Whenever someone would ask me about where my passion for cooking came from, I would always say my Mum, growing up in an Indian household I can always remember my mum being in the kitchen. My mum a traditional Indian cook, whose food could wow anyone!!!
I remember as a kid eating all sorts of stuff, and there always being a freshly cooked meal on the table.
So where does my passion come from, I became a mum in 2009 and thought to myself, I want my son to come home after school and say mum what is that smell and then of course him realising that I had made something fresh or baked something from scratch, so this is where my journey really began with food.
I started off slow looking for recipes on Pinterest and building my food board:)
I then cooked and baked to my hearts content, sometimes baking late into the night, because I found I had all of this energy and wanted to create something beautiful. This of course has intensified further since Lockdown and made me want to create more and to perfect my skill more.
Baking and cooking is a lifeline for me, giving me something to focus on, mentally this is what has saved me!!!!
I wanted to share this with you, as I am just a mum doing something I love:)
