Cheese Straws

Ingridients
100g Plain Flour
50g Unsalted Butter
50g Cheddar Cheese
1 Egg
Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
Pinch of Sea Salt
Method
Mix the flour, cayenne and sea salt in mixing bowl
Add the butter and rub together until the mixture has a sandy texture.
Add the cheese and egg yolk, use a cutting knife and make cutting motions through the mixture, slowly bringing the dough together. You may need to add a small amount of water to bring the mixture together, gather the dough together in a ball and put in a fridge for 30 minutes, wrapped in cling film.
Pre-heat your oven to 200 C.
Roll out the chilled dough as thin as you wish using a ruler and sharp knife start cutting the dough into straws and use the cut offs to make fun shapes if you wish!!!
Transfer to a non-stick baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes or until golden, transfer to a wire rack to cool.
